In the digital age, disinformation has become a powerful tool for influencing society and politics.
False information shapes opinions, manipulates election results and undermines the foundations of democracy. Mariusz Nowik, Radio ZET's deputy information director, together with experts analyses the mechanisms of disinformation campaigns, drawing on examples from recent years, and looks for effective methods to protect against them. The five-part series was created as part of the 20th edition of Radio ZET's Andrzej Woyciechowski Award.
Among the guests invited to the talks is Piotr Mieczkowski from the Digital Poland Foundation, European AI Forum. In one of the episodes, he discusses the issues of microtargeting, precise message outreach and negative impact on voters. The use of artificial intelligence for disinformation is also among the topics discussed.
We encourage you to listen to the five episodes that make up the entire series on disinformation.
