It was attended by 1,500+ people and featured more than 240 speakers from over 70 countries on five stages. The event featured two networking evenings and a gala. And all this under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.
ICT Week saw the 17th edition of the TIME Economic Forum and the 3rd Data Spaces Symposium.
During the event:
- representatives of the leading telecommunications chambers signed a letter of intent with Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski to set up a group for the development of telecommunications,
- a number of round tables were held on, for example, women united in the fight against disinformation, changes to the funding of digital market regulators due to the lack of bigtech contribution or attracting new investment to Poland,
- discussed Poland's and Europe's biggest pain points hindering our development. These include the lack of a single market, mass disinformation against the EU or the Green Deal, nationalisms hampering EU consolidation, or fragmentation and lack of cooperation at the local level,
- the winners of the 7th edition of the prestigious Digital Shapers list were announced. This year's novelty is the announcement of the winners in the collaboration category. This is what we need most to accelerate in digitalisation,
- discussed the state of development of the European data space, including the upcoming standardisation of cloud services (the Data Act regulation comes into force on 12 September 2025) and the need to build Europe's autonomy in data and AI.
The FG TIME Studio was active during the Forum, where issues such as AI Policy, the Digitalisation Strategy to 2035, the development of deeptech in Poland or the common demands of chambers, industry organisations and foundations were discussed.
The ICT Week event was also commented on by a number of journalists from TVN24 BiS, Polsat News, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, IT RESELLER, Telewizja Puls, telko.in or BIZNES24 accredited to participate in the forum.
We would like to thank you for your participation and our partners for their cooperation.
