Digital Poland Foundation joins PW eSkills initiative - together we build Poland's digital future

We have joined the PW eSkills initiative, implemented by the Ministry of Digitalisation. This is another step to support the development of digital competences of Poles, building a modern economy and increasing the number of ICT specialists in Poland.

On 7 July 2025, a ceremony was held at the Ministry of Digital Affairs to sign an agreement with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski. Nine new institutions have joined the PW eSkills initiative and will work together to improve the digital skills of citizens. We would like to thank Director Katarzyna Nosalska for the discussions during the meeting.

"Digital skills are the key to full participation in social and professional life. As the Digital Poland Foundation, we have been involved in educational activities for years, helping Poles find their place in the digital reality. Joining PW eSkills is a great opportunity to work together with the Centre for Digital Competence Development (CRKC) on educational activities, says Dr Michał Boni, president of the Digital Poland Foundation.

As part of the PW eSkills initiative, we will continue and develop our flagship activities, such as:

- Digital Festival - Poland's largest private sector event promoting new technologies and digital education. Every year, it attracts thousands of participants, offering workshops, webinars and inspiring lectures that help to understand and exploit the potential of technology;

- SkillUP Academy - practical online and classroom training courses that teach, among other things, digital hygiene, how to use public e-services, electronic identification and the basics of programming. Our tests allow participants to assess their level of competence and identify areas for development;

- Modern Senior Campaign - a dedicated programme for older people that helps break down technological barriers, teaches safe use of the internet and encourages active participation in the digital world;

- Digital Fitness Test - the first free, nationwide digital competence test for children and adults, implemented using the EU's DigComp 2.2 methodology in cooperation with the European Commission;

- Charter for the development of future competences of Polish society and lifelong learning.

Joining PW eSkills confirms that the Digital Poland Foundation's activities are important for building a modern, inclusive society. We believe that working together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs and other partners will allow us to reach even more Poles, offering them the tools and knowledge they need in the digital world.
