These decisions confirm confidence in their vision and experience in leading the organisation towards further developing Poland's digital transformation and making Poland one of the world's major centres of digital innovation.
Last year, the Foundation significantly intensified its activities. Among other things, we organized the largest ICT conference in the region – ICT Week, combining the TIME Economic Forum and the Data Spaces Symposium, which in March 2025 attracted leaders in technology, business, and administration from all over Europe. We also actively supported events related to the Polish Presidency of the EU Council, such as AI House in Davos and the Digital Summit, strengthening Poland's position as a leader in digital innovation on the international stage.
We are also continuing our flagship educational projects, such as Nowoczesny Senior (Modern Senior), which supports the development of digital skills. A new development is even closer cooperation with the National Chamber of Commerce for Electronics and Telecommunications, under which we have jointly launched AI Poland, an initiative integrating the artificial intelligence ecosystem in Poland, supported by over 40 organizations, with COI and NASK-PIB as observers. In 2025, we are planning further groundbreaking collaborations to consolidate the Polish innovation ecosystem – something that has never been done before in Poland!
"In an era of rapid technological development, it is crucial that society is prepared for new challenges. Education in digital competences is the foundation that allows us not only to keep up with change, but also to actively shape it. The Digital Poland Foundation is committed to inclusiveness and accessibility of digital tools so that everyone can take advantage of the opportunities offered by the digital transformation,“ says Dr. Michał Boni, President of the Digital Poland Foundation.
”Poland has enormous potential to become a leader in new technologies in Europe. Our goal is to build bridges between the local technology ecosystem and global leaders. Initiatives such as AI Poland show that we can create world-class innovations by combining Polish creativity with international cooperation through the European AI Forum," adds Igor Zacharjasz, Chairman of the Foundation's Council.
The board, chaired by Dr. Michał Boni, includes: Agnieszka Benowska (CFO), Aleksandra Brzozowska (international cooperation), Mariusz Grzesiuk (Chief Legal Officer), Dr. Agnieszka Jankowska (digital education), Edyta Malesza-Malatrat (marketing and PR) and Piotr Mieczkowski (managing director).
We would like to thank our founders – Baker McKenzie Polska, Fujitsu, Motorola, Polpharma, Symfonia, Ringier Axel Springer Polska, T-Mobile Polska, TVN Warner Bros. Discovery and Visa – for their support in achieving our mission.
