Żoliborz, Bielany, Mokotów: Summary of the fantastic edition of the ‘Modern Senior in Warsaw’ training courses

We have had a wonderful time learning and making digital discoveries! We have completed a series of free training courses entitled ‘Modern Senior in Warsaw’, which took place in three districts of Warsaw: Bielany, Żoliborz and Mokotów. During these few weeks, over 300 seniors enthusiastically discovered how to quickly, safely and conveniently take care of official matters and use municipal e-services without leaving home. Read about what this edition looked like, what we learned, and where you can find practical materials if you were unable to attend the meeting!

Free training courses for seniors – thank you for a fantastic 2025 edition!

We have completed the series of free training courses entitled “Modern Seniors in Warsaw”. Over the course of several weeks, we visited three districts: Bielany, Żoliborz and Mokotów, where we worked with participants to learn how to use Warsaw’s digital services more conveniently, quickly and confidently.

In total, over 300 seniors took part in our seven training sessions, discovering with great curiosity and courage how to:

  • take care of official matters on the mojaWarszawa platform

  • make an appointment in just a few clicks thanks to the Appointment Booking System

  • report problems and obtain information through the 19115 Contact Centre

  • submit ideas and vote in the Citizens' Budget

Where did the training take place?

The training sessions as part of the ‘Modern Senior in Warsaw’ project took place in several unique, senior-friendly locations in Bielany, Żoliborz and Mokotów:

Bielany district

  • Senior Support Centre No. 1, Al. Zjednoczenia 13

  • Senior Support Centre No. 2, ul. Wrzeciono 5a

  • Bielany Senior Support Centre Senior+, ul. Broniewskiego 56

  • University of the Third Age, Mokotów Centre for Resident Integration, ul. Woronicza 44a

It was there that we were able to meet with participants, learn together and conduct practical workshops on the use of the city's e-services.

We would like to thank all our partner institutions, support centres and third age universities for their hospitality, openness and wonderful cooperation. Thanks to you, we were able to create a space full of kindness, support and inspiration – ideal for learning and discovering the digital possibilities of Warsaw together.

It's a great way to start your adventure with digital Warsaw on your own, at your own pace.

Information and education campaign – together we reached thousands of Warsaw seniors!

As part of the project, we conducted a diverse information and education campaign, thanks to which we were able to reach the residents of the capital both online and offline.

We wanted every senior citizen in Warsaw, as well as their loved ones, to learn about the possibilities offered by municipal e-services and the free educational materials and training courses prepared for them. That is why the campaign was diverse and present where seniors look for information on a daily basis. Thanks to these activities, our project became visible to the residents of Warsaw, especially in three selected districts: Bielany, Żoliborz and Mokotów, and information about the city's e-services reached thousands of people who were able to take advantage of the brochure and training courses.

We would like to thank all the institutions and partners who helped us convey the message of the project to the residents of Warsaw. The project would not have been possible without the funding from the City of Warsaw - as part of grants supporting the digitisation of Warsaw.
