The 7th edition of the Digital Festival, Poland's largest event combining new technologies with digital education, has just come to an end. For six weeks the festival showed how important connectivity is in everyday life, business and administration. This year's theme – "connectivity as the lifeblood of a modern state" – perfectly captured what was happening throughout Poland.
Some impressive figures:
80+ partners (including Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, EY GDS Poland, T-Mobile Polska, TVN Warner Bros. Discovery)
115+ offline and online events
2.2 million people directly accessed the festival content
37.4 million media and online reach
Night of Innovation – over 90 events in 12 cities, 5,000+ participants
Modern Senior – 5,600+ guides (print + online) + training for 15,000+ seniors
Digital Fitness Test – nearly 9,600+ people tested their digital skills
Knowledge Zone – 4 video podcasts and 15+ articles
What was most memorable?
Innovation Night on 24 October – modelled on ‘museum night’, this time innovative places were opened to the public. From robot programming in Kielce, through artificial intelligence in Wrocław, to stargazing in Białystok and discussions about digital hygiene in Łódź – for one evening, Poland became a huge laboratory of the future.
Modern Senior – a programme that is growing in strength every year. Fifteen thousand trained seniors and thousands of guidebooks distributed are a real step towards reducing digital exclusion and building an intergenerational bridge.
Digital Fitness Test – nearly 10,000 Poles tested their knowledge of the basics of digitisation, disinformation and data protection. The results? They showed how much we still have to catch up on – but also how many people want to learn.
Premiere of the report ‘Technology in the service of society’ – key conclusions:
76% of Poles treat internet access like electricity or water (critical infrastructure)
68% expect global tech giants to co-finance the development of connectivity
Digital Ars – a competition combining art and AI has just launched a new edition (applications until the end of February 2026).
Digital Festival 2025 showed that connectivity today has many dimensions, because it is not only technology, but above all cooperation, trust and joint action. Thanks to our partners and participants, we managed to reach millions of Poles, promoting responsible use of technology and openness to innovation, says Michał Boni, president of the Digital Poland foundation.
For the seventh time, the Digital Festival has proven that digital education and openness to technology are not a fad, but a necessity. And that in Poland, we can do it on a really large scale — with our heads, hearts and momentum.
The festival would not have been possible without the support of our partners. We would like to express our sincere thanks to our strategic partners: Ringier Axel Springer Polska and TVN Warner Bros. Discovery. We would also like to thank the Main Partner of Innovation Night – EY GDS Poland – and the Main Partner of Modern Senior – the Polska Bezgotówkowa Foundation. We would also like to thank our Honorary Partners, the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
See you next year at the 8th edition!
