Michał Boni re-elected as chairman of the Digital Poland Foundation. We know the plans and the composition of the board for the coming year

The Supervisory Board of the Digital Poland Foundation has decided to re-elect Dr Michał Boni as Chairman of the Management Board. This will enable the Foundation to continue its mission to drive the country’s digital transformation and foster innovation in Poland.

The Management Board for the coming year comprises recognised leaders who are responsible for key areas of the organisation’s activities: Agnieszka Benowska (CFO), Aleksandra Brzozowska (international cooperation), Mariusz Grzesiuk (Chief Legal Officer), Dr Agnieszka Jankowska (digital education), Edyta Malesza-Malatrat (marketing and PR) and Piotr Mieczkowski (Managing Director).

The coming months will see the implementation of objectives based on three strategic pillars:

  • Digital Poland Members Hub – this area focuses on the implementation of joint initiatives by the organisation’s founders. Projects are planned to focus on the digitalisation of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprise sector and the effective scaling of start-ups.

  • Future Thinking Hub: key analytical studies will be produced as part of this pillar. The work will include, amongst other things, new research reports dedicated to the European Digital Identity Portfolio (EUDI) and an analysis of the state of disinformation. The 5th edition of ‘Time for the Digital Economy’ will also be published, containing a set of recommendations for the development of national digitalisation.

  • Digital Education for Society: educational activities will focus on broadly enhancing future-ready skills and raising awareness of issues relating to digital hygiene and the protection of children online. Training sessions and joint educational campaigns on future-ready skills will also be organised.

The Foundation also intends to continue actively supporting key market-integrating initiatives, such as AI Poland and TechPL, as well as engaging in any other projects that develop the Polish innovation sector.
