How can we strike a balance between the digital and real worlds? The best thing to do is to get out of the house and spend time together. This Sunday, 20 September, the PGE Narodowy grounds will be transformed into Warsaw’s largest space for family fun, sport and education. As the event’s media partner, we encourage you to put your smartphones away and enjoy a real offline adventure.
On 20 September 2026 – this coming Sunday – we invite whole families to a huge family and sports picnic on the PGE Narodowy grounds, organised as part of the 20th edition of Warsaw Family Days. On the same day, the 14th National Sports Day will also take place in a neighbouring part of the grounds, allowing participants to enjoy a unique combination of family fun, physical activity and inspiring educational experiences.
As the Digital Poland Foundation, the event’s media partner, we’re encouraging you to take on a simple challenge: put your smartphones away for a few hours and spend that time together, being active in the fresh air. This is a perfect opportunity to swap screen-scrolling for real emotions, family conversations and discovering new passions together.
In a world full of notifications and digital stimuli, consciously building relationships and spending time with loved ones is becoming increasingly important. It’s not about giving up technology, but about finding a healthy balance. And it’s hard to find a better opportunity than a family picnic full of attractions for children, parents and grandparents.
dozens of sporting activities and training sessions led by outstanding athletes, including Robert Korzeniowski,
a mobile ski jump, an ice rink and a laser biathlon,
a rope park and fitness zones for the whole family,
robot demonstrations, science workshops and interactive educational experiences,
the chance to learn about the jobs and skills of the future,
giant building blocks, sand painting, experiments and creative workshops,
meetings with representatives of the emergency services and demonstrations of specialist equipment,
competitions, entertainment, tastings and many other attractions prepared for children and adults.
It’s one of those days best spent away from screens. Instead of yet another bout of scrolling, it’s worth opting for activity, discovering new interests together and creating family memories.
